Inspiration for my work comes from my passion for fly fishing.  My palette is an extensive collection of fabrics including batik, hand painted, and hand dyed cottons. Pictorial pieces are created from full scale line drawings interpreted from a photograph or sketch. The designs are all original and are constructed using machine techiniques with occassional touches of hand work.

Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts in Ludlow, Vermont. 
The dates for 2012 "open studio" sessions are:

This is a great opportunity to learn in an intimate, supportive and inspirational setting.

Studio Art Quilt Associates 
is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt
through education, exhibitions, professional development and documentation. 
  I am one of the three VT/NH/ME regional co-representatives for this organization.


 Project Healing Waters
Dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and veterans through fly fishing and fly tying educational outings. 
I am proud to be a volunteer for this worthy cause.

Casting for Recovery
is a national non-profit support & educational program for women
who have or have had breast cancer.
